Building software on the side for other businesses taught me that the code is rarely what goes wrong. It's the brief nobody wrote down, the handover that never happened, and the developer who stops answering once the invoice is paid. Shariff Consultancy is set up the other way round: the scope comes first, and I'm still the one you call after launch. I also run two products of my own, [PrismPOS](https://shariffconsultancy.com/products/prismpos) and [Shipzen](https://shariffconsultancy.com/products/shipzen). They keep me honest about what it takes to support software after the launch party. ## **Three rules we work by** ### **Build from what users actually do** We watch how your team and customers work today before deciding what to build. ### **Ship small, measure, then improve** A useful first version beats a perfect plan. The numbers tell us what to do next. ### **Stay after launch** Support, fixes and the next improvement are part of the job, not an upsell. ## **Who you'll work with** ![Portrait of Yasir Shariff.](https://shariffconsultancy.com/_ipx/q_80/images/yasir-headshot.webp) **Yasir Shariff** Founder I scope and build every project myself, and bring in a designer or a second developer when a project needs one. You'll always deal with me. ## **Come and see us**
